These rules keep Nxeon fast, safe, and reliable for everyone. Using the Services means agreeing to abide by them.

1.Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited on the Nxeon platform. It exists to protect our customers, our infrastructure, and the broader internet. It applies to everyone who uses the Services and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

We may update this AUP as threats and abuse patterns evolve. Violations may result in warnings, throttling, suspension, or termination without refund, depending on severity.

2.Prohibited content

You may not use the Services to host, store, transmit, or distribute:

  • Content that is illegal under applicable law, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to authorities.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or misappropriates trade secrets.
  • Malware, ransomware, exploit kits, or other malicious code intended to harm systems or users.
  • Content that harasses, defames, threatens, or incites violence against others.
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or phishing content designed to obtain credentials or payment details.

3.Prohibited network activity

To keep the network healthy for everyone, you may not:

  • Launch or participate in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or any traffic amplification or reflection abuse.
  • Perform unauthorized port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing against systems you do not own or lack written permission to test.
  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), operate open mail relays, or violate anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM.
  • Spoof headers, IP addresses, or identities, or otherwise disguise the origin of traffic.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data, or to circumvent authentication or resource limits.

4.Resource abuse

Servers run on shared physical infrastructure. You may not use resources in a way that degrades service for other customers, including sustained abuse that materially exceeds the resources allocated to your plan, or attempts to escape the boundaries of your virtual environment.

Cryptocurrency mining and similar sustained maximum-load workloads may be restricted on certain plans; check the plan description or contact us before running them.

5.Email and messaging

If you send email from your servers, you are responsible for maintaining proper authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), honoring unsubscribe requests, and complying with all applicable anti-spam and privacy laws. Repeated deliverability complaints may lead to outbound port restrictions.

6.Security responsibilities

  • Keep your operating system and applications patched and securely configured.
  • Protect your credentials and SSH keys; do not expose insecure services to the public internet.
  • Promptly remediate compromised servers. A compromised server used to attack others may be suspended to protect the network.

7.Reporting abuse

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP originating from our network, please report it through our contact page with relevant logs, timestamps (with time zone), and affected addresses so we can investigate.

8.Enforcement

We investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle or suspend servers, or terminate accounts. Where there is an imminent threat to the platform, other customers, or third parties, we may act immediately and without prior notice. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
